Is there a weight limit for the Shelf Brackets?

The maximum weight we recommend being supported by the Shelf Brackets is 50 lb., which includes both the surface itself as well as any items placed on the shelf. That being said, it greatly depends on the surface material you use, as well as the wall material and mount.

How do you attach the Shelf Brackets to the wall?

There are many ways the Shelf Brackets can be installed, depending on what they will be holding as well as the wall material on which they will be mounted. The Shelf Brackets come with 4 stainless steel Phillips head screws and wall anchors (if necessary). Please keep in mind that different walls require different wall hardware. How much weight your shelf can hold will depend on your wall material and the hardware used for installation &#x2014; if installing in studs, you do not need the wall anchors, but if you are installing in drywall you will need the wall anchors. Contact your local hardware store if you are not certain what you should use in your space!
