The Bed Frame in Color is one of our most sustainable products yet! Each panel is constructed around a honeycomb core made of 100% recycled paper and supported by an MDF exterior made of 50% recycled paper and wood. The panels are then coated in vibrantly colored melamine laminate &#x2014; a mixture of paper and resin that creates a sleek and durable, matte finish.

Extremely! It carries the same durable honeycomb core as our wood bed panels and the melamine laminate coating is scratch and shatter resistant as well as waterproof. To clean it, you can just wipe it with a damp cloth. It&#x2019;s delightfully low-maintenance.

How durable is the Bed Frame in Color?

No! Laminate provides a natural level of friction (almost akin to rubber) that will keep your mattress nice and secure. No slippage here!

The laminate bed panels are made by our partner in Italy, a pioneer in the industry for production using recycled materials, while the steel framework is made here in the US.
