What materials are The Form Sectional made of?

The Form Sectional frame is constructed from plywood and engineered wood with solid joints. A flat-spring suspension and two layers of foam create a structured yet comfortable sit that allows you to sink in while providing ample support.

The Form Sectional is available in 3 upholstery options, a performance fabric, a sustainable boucle, and Kvadrat wools.

Do I need any tools for assembling The Form Sectional

No tools needed! The Form Sectional units are equipped with alligator-style clips on the underside of each unit that allow you to easily and securely connect each unit to the next. If you’d like to change it up, simply lift the side one unit and disengage the clips to rearrange. See our Assembly Instructions for more details!

Do The Sectional fabrics contain any flame retardants or chemicals?

Our Performance Fabrics and Boucle Sectional fabrics are free of chemical flame retardants and are in full conformance with California Proposition 65. Similar to Patagonia’s Durable Water Repellent, we chose a shorter-chain C6 fluorocarbon-based treatment because it breaks down faster over time and is less harmful to the environment.

The Kvadrat wools — Tonus and Sisu — are not chemically treated, but rather have stain resistance from the lanolin that exists naturally in wool.

What is the weight limit of the Sectional?

Each Sectional unit, including the Ottoman, has a weight limit of 300 lb.

Will the Sectional fabric fade in direct sunlight?

Like most fabric, the Sectional fabrics may fade over time if placed in direct light. If you would like to avoid the natural fade of fabric, we recommend shielding it from direct sunlight.

Can the Sectional stand up to my pets?

Yes! We chose our Sectional fabrics for their superior stain and odor resistance. All of our fabrics are either naturally stain-resistant (Tonus and Sisu) or treated to be stain-resistant (Boucle and Performance Fabrics), but none are stain-proof — please be sure to follow our care and cleaning instructions to best tackle any pet mishaps as soon as possible.We recommend either the Performance Fabric or Boucle options for the most pet-friendly Sectional!
