No — any spot cleaning of the fabric should be done with the covers on the cushions, using the cleaning methods outlined above only. Cushion covers should not be removed. The cushion covers have zippers because the covers are manufactured separately — they are then put on the cushions and sealed post-production. Zippers help with this process! The zippers are NOT there to allow for the covers to be removed from the cushions. We don’t recommend removing the cushion covers as they may be difficult to get back onto the cushions. Machine washing the Sofa cushion covers will damage their stain-resistance. For deeper cleans of your Sofa, professional cleaning is recommended.
